Magazine Freebies - ELLE UK December 2013

I had seen the ELLE magazine on the shelves but felt meh about it, £4 and the product is not full sized. However last Friday the Metro had a voucher which allowed purchase of the ELLE UK Magazine for the price of £1. I spent £2 saved £6 and received two of the 3 free lip glosses. 

If you can get your hands on the Metro magazine the voucher is still valid until the 30th of November. 

Overall the Benefit lipglosses are a lovely smooth texture

 and they fit in my clutch bag very well. 

Magazine Freebies - December Glamour Kate Spade New York by Nails Inc London

Glamour (UK) magazine for December has a great freebie a mini Kate Spade collection, comprising of 4 colours. I purchased my favourite two polishes out of the collection, Soho Silver and Uptown Glamour. The names are so New York. 

I also have my eye on the Benefit lipglosses which are free with the (UK) ELLE Mag, but I will watch the sheckles and keep you updated.

Among L'occitane's latest offerings, are these  new limited edition shea butter hand creams. Small enough to fit in your clutch, hand bag or carry on, plus they are available with the current issue of Marie Claire magazine as a free gift. The L'Occitane Shea Butter handcream is rich in formular but when applied absorbs into the skin very easily. I absolutely love it and I am not ashamed that I bought 3 Marie Claire magazines, in order for me to obtain all three of these limited edition scents. I saved 53% off the RRP, there is no shame in the L'Occitane game.

Leighton Denny Colour & Go Manicure Pen

     At first I thought this was just spiel, I do not like all in one products. I find they do not work as effectively as two separate items. However I already own the Leighton Denny Crystal nail file (if you do not have one, you need to get on that ASAP) and it is hands down the best nail file I have ever purchased/owned. Harpers Bazaar is not really a freebie magazine, but when they offer a freebie it is usually some "good shyt." I bought the magazine and recieved the Colour & Go Manicure Pen in Butterfly wings (after searching numerous news agents, 3 different WHSmiths and a Waterstones.) I specifically wanted Butterfly wings because I knew it was a colour/shade that I would wear a lot.

 Also I love a travel sized product, which is useful. Topcoat, base-coat and polish, you just cant get more useful than that. It has been 4 days, 8 showers, numerous hand washings and even a run in with some dead sea salt. My manicure is intact. Not only am I impressed with the Colour & Go Manicure Pen, it has been elevated to the status of "handbag essential." I must admit that I purchased a second Leighton Denny Colour & Go Manicure Pen in Butterfly Wings. I am also considering the purchase of two more Harpers Bazaar magazines, I would like to try the Colour & Go Manicure in Just Perfect and Pillow Talk.

Just Perfect - A timeless shade with warmth and sophistication.  A great neutral shade that warms the nails and gives a beautifully groomed finish.

There is just something about a product that does exactly what it says it will do. In addition to being easily portable. The Leighton Denny Colour & Go Manicure Pen is one of those products. Plus I got to trial it without agonizing over the initial £11 spend.

Magazine Freebies June 2013

I love a freebie, the only thing which can make a freebie better is if the item is FULL sized. My lovelies it has been a while since I posted a good magazine freebie post. Not to worry this month newsstands are chock-a-block with magazines offering freebies. These are some great items  to add to your makeup bag or nail polish collection.

Marie Claire is currently offering a Ciate mini nail polish and caviar kit.

Glamour is on a double whammy not only is it on offer at £1 instead of £2 (usual price) they are currently offering a full sized product from Model Co. There are 5 products to choose from, yes FIVE with a combined value of £78!!!!! ----->  two lip glosses, mascara, lipliner and eyeliner.

Cosmopolitan is offering a free paid of sunglasses with 3 styles to choose from

Red Magazine is currently offering  a  15ml Elemis Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm

Harper's Bazaar is currently offering a free Leighton Denny Colour & Go Manicure Pen in 6 colours. (yup six colours) I think this is DEFINITELY the freebie of the month. £6 x £11 = £66, 6 x£4.20 = £25.20, that is a SAVING of  £40. 80.

April Magazine Freebie 2013

Marie Claire UK has teamed up with the the people at Neal's Yard to bring to the public the plight of the Bees. This is the Bee Lovers hand cream and is currently available with the April issue of Marie Claire magazine, also this cream can be purchased along with accompanying products at Neal's Yards tors and online. It has a slightly citrus scent and is a tad bit greasy, so be sure to use a little at a time.  

Marie Claire Magazine Freebies - August 2012

Decisions decisions Marie claire will have a few of you girlies pondering with their next issue. They will be offering 3 FULL SIZED mascaras as a free with the mag.  (I know mascara seems to be the in thing at the moment.) Choices are Avon Super shock max mascara, Avon Super curlacious Mascara and the Avon Super extreme mascara. Good Job Avon, this is a great way to advertise and generate some awareness about your products.

The Coral is hands down the best one, just saying.
