What to Wear to Work - The Pinks (TM Lewin 1898)

A coloured shirt can be a good way to inject colour into your work wear wardrobe and get away from the corporate basics of black and white. Also Spring/Summer is the time of year when colour is embraced. These are just a selection of Pink shirts which I have for work wear, they can be worn on their own with a trouser or a skirt or under a suit/blazer for a more formal look.

All of my pink shirts are from TM Lewin, and that is because I made the concious decision to start buying quality shirts which would last more than a few washes, before losing colour and/or shape. (you know the type you wear the shirt once, put it in the wash and it never looks the same, even after you have starched it and ironed with steam.) TM Lewin shirts are great quality and price wise compared to other brands they are hard to beat. If you are lucky you may be able to catch a multi-buy offer instore 4 shirts for £90 for guys, or 3 shirts for £75.

Material is the most expensive part of shirt making and TM Lewin uses 100% cotton when making all of their shirts. Unlike some other retailers who use cotton blended with polyester and other synthetic fabrics. Also the buttons on TM Lewin Shirts are sewn using 2 threads to ensure that they hold well and do not pop off after a few wears or washes.

The Pinks - the shirt below was in the was so I was not able to photograph it.
